The Marquis
This is a pin-up of Guy Davis' very interesting character "The MARQUIS".
I was reminded of this by Guy's new blog [link] on The Marquis. Soon to be published in Sept. 2009 by Dark Horse Comics.
It's a favorite piece of mine and he was kind enough to send me a fresh scan.
"First seeing print in 1997, The Marquis is the comic series creation of artist/writer Guy Davis. An action/ horror series that followed the life and damnation of The Marquis Vol de Galle, his fight against the devils of Hell and his own faith and madness."
